ABOUT MOUNTAIN BIKING: Here's the great thing about this week new trails! Most kids hit their local single track in the backyard. Our groups go out and find the sweet stuff. Not only do we know all the games and challenges that sharpen your riding skills and proficiency on the bike, but they are FUN! We go out to the trails with the necessary obstacles required to hone proper technique, give you the bike maintenance skills to be a well rounded biker, and offer up a great group to ride with. The group travels in a responsible manner, and influences campers to understand proper etiquette and safe management of others and self. Individuals are encouraged to push themselves physically and technically. This is a week for campers to be ACTIVE, keeping on the move and coming home tired. Daily bike checks as well as daily skill challenges are posed to the group as short and long term goals. Skill cards give a set progression of skills to work on and improve upon. Safety is stressed at all times, and much attention is given to keeping the body tuned as well as the bike. This is a fast paced week of teamwork and individual growth. A perfect week for campers who are active and on the go.
