About Climbing CLS: For the young climbing enthusiast to get a healthy introduction to some bigger climbs. The crags in West Virginia inspire the "awe" and are exposed enough to instill confidence These cliffs are so hot and just a tad out of our overnight reach, that we had to make a week out of it. The hit list includes Franklin Rocks, Seneca Rocks, Lake Summersville, and New River Gorge. Climbing doesn't get tiring when the surroundings are beautiful and a hot summer afternoon can be cooled down with a jump into the water!
We know climbing gets hot, so we strategically go to climbs near swim holes. We are also offering campers the opportunity to be introduced to the vast variety of climbing styles. Campers will be introduced to both Sport and Trad using a "mock lead", with of course a healthy smattering of Top-Roping. We are on the go, so after climbing the best routes we are off in search of more. Our thirst for great outdoor experiences ensure we focus on a well rounded program, and manage climbing with other activities and camping. Our itinerary is a "hit-list" worthy of anyone interested in climbing - from pro to beginner. Our Camps have been hailed as the ultimate environment to excel in climbing, and this program make that point concrete.
