About Skiing CLS: Last year's trip down south will live in our memories forever. Along with many campers, Staff took advantage of this amazing ski trip. Snow was great, company was greater, and the adventure was the greatest. This year we are sure to add to the excitement by exploring the resort and it's hidden treasures a little deeper. If riding lifts with the Pros wasn't enough, skiing the secret chutes topped the experience. If you love to ski, then this is the icing on the cake. Campers will be lodging in the Inca Lodge and be part of numerous activities offered by Calleva and the resort. The resort facilities include an outdoor heated pool and hot tub, game rooms, a full-court gym and much more. We will be spending every day on the slopes while at the resort. Calleva will be offering daily classes on snow safety, hazard awareness, terrain stability, and backcountry skills. The batteries and belly will be recharged mid-day, and then we will continue to push ourselves out on those slopes. Thursday the campers can enter in the "Sol de Portillo" ski race, and Friday night there is a skiing torchlight parade. Due to the small amount of guest, we can ski all day without waiting in a lift line, but we won't be the only ones on the mountain. We'll be sharing the mountain with skiing legends, Chris Davenport, Shane McConkey, Mike Douglas, Wendy Fisher, and Chris Anthony. These athletes will be putting on nightly slideshows, movies, and other presentations. A great chance to learn from the best! Wax the skis & get out the passport! All food, lodging, country fees, lift tickets, and shuttles will be covered by Calleva while in Chile!
