The kooky Calleva surf crew is once again trekking to the sacred shores of CA! Join us this spring break for some righteous waves on the west coast. We'll be flying into Orange County and setting up basecamp in San Clemente. We'll dawn-patrol at Dog Patch, pray for waves at Church's, and tear it up at T-Street! And we may even get access to a super-secret spot, if you'll promise NEVER to reveal it's location... In addition to sharing the waves, we'll share cooking/clean-up responsibilities, first-aid/water safety lessons, and land-based adventures during down time (or if the waves are totally flat). The surf on the west coast can get big (see last year's trip report below) so this trip is for those who already have some surfing experience and are very comfortable in potentially rough open water.
Calleva will provide all ground transportation, meals, lodging, equipment and activities while in CA. Water temperatures in March are cool-to-cold, so bring a wetsuit and booties if you have them (it is possible to rent one in San Clemente, if needed). A complete packing/needs list and itinerary will be sent to participants once they've signed on (including potential flight information). Registration deadline is Febuary 28th, 2013, so don't delay! Calleva's annual Snow Club spring break trip is always EPIC. We have visited some of the very best snow in the Continental US to schralp the biggest and best resorts in the USA! Every year, this amazing adventure is a "can't miss" if you are a snow hound like us! Calleva chaperones manage everything from house rental and meal planning to transportation and fun on the slopes!
Before you even think about donning shorts and heading to the beach, consider this: what better way to say adios to winter, than visiting the snow out West! Wax up those skis, sharpen your edges, and join the Calleva Snow Club on its farewell to Winter 2013!
This year, we will head to Vail, Colorado for 5 days of incredible skiing & boarding. Here are the details:
- Dates: Saturday 3/23/2013 -- Thursday 3/28/2013.
- $1150 for Calleva Snow Club Members
- $1250 for non snow club members
NOTE: Price includes: lift ticket, lodging, airport shuttles, breakfast, dinner and snacks each day.
