Farm Animal Activity

Activity Overview:  Calleva's farm teaches individuals about sustainable agricultural practices, including animal husbandry and crop cultivation. Calleva is an acting MAEOE certified Environmental Center and performs its mission through a variety of efforts with schools (including high school internships and service learning projects) as well as summer camps and scouting programs.

Activity Offered to: Camps, schools, school/college interns, corporate/environmental organizations, private groups and parties.

Special Considerations: Familiarity with physical labor and large animal care are a plus. Calleva has horses, sheep, pigs, and a number of fowl among its many farm animals.
