Hi/Lo Ropes Activity
Activity Overview: Ropes courses are divided into high and low elements and can be offered portable at your site or at one of Calleva's many locations. High elements refer to challenges in which participants are tied into a belay rope (all will be wearing UIAA-certified harness and helmet). High elements are designed for individual growth and we encourage ("challenged by choice") folks to get outside of their personal comfort zone and set personal goals. Low elements are designed to challenge the group. Groups are given a problem/obstacle and guidelines. These challenges are usually presented as a story of a time and place, in which the team needs to pull their resources to solve the problem. These offer a wide degree of benefits and if facilitated correctly will offer depth and growth to all individuals and of course the group.
Activity Offered to: Camps, schools, school/college interns, corporate/environmental organizations, private groups and parties.
Special Considerations: High and low ropes elements are great ways to encourage team building and empowering the individual.
