Our Riding Camp is part of year round riding School CEEP (Calleva Equestrian Educational Programs). This multi-tiered camp offers a great environment for those interested about horses. A complete education offered by an amazing team geared to get you riding and enjoying this beautiful relationship between rider and horse. Campers are teamed up with a horse for the week to progress through a series of fun skill-based activities. The groups are divided into 3 different groups of 10, and learn to groom, control the horse through games and events, and get out on the trails. Our farm offers all the amenities for your horsing needs. Indoor riding arena, Outdoor rings and sand filled jumping arena. Miles of trails over the 168 acre farm and adjacent C&O National & Historic Park. In addition to the various horsemanship activities, riders also enjoy getting themselves cooled off in alternative games and events. The majority of our horses are aged with very calm dispositions, are used for year-round programming, and are used heavily for beginner riders. A mellow herd makes for a great learning environment for our campers. Another major plus to our riding program is that your love for horses does not need to fade away when school starts, because we go all year. All Instructors are certified with the American Riding Instructor Certification Program (ARICP) and Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).
