ISO a Summer Job? Try Calleva!

Here's a message from Pickles, one of our amazing summer instructors:

At sixteen years old, when I first started working for Calleva, I thought "Wow, what a cool way to spend my last summer before I do an internship!" Now, at twenty-four years old, I am preparing for my 9th summer as a staff at Calleva. No, it's not because I couldn't find anything else  (I currently teach full time). It's because nothing else can ever offer what Calleva has to offer. The responsibility you have, the hard and soft skills you hone, the incredible friendships you make, and of course the view from the office, cannot be topped anywhere else. People who love the outdoors weren't built to sit in a cubicle and stare at a computer screen all day. They were built to develop their love for the outdoors in a hands-on setting, and to pass their passion on to others. Calleva isn't a job: it's a community, and once you're in, you're in for life!  So, put down your pen and paper, pick up a paddle (or a bike, raft, horse, etc.), and come along for the adventure!
