River Eco Activity

Activity Overview: This is an opportunity for those interested in the environment and the relationship between man and our fresh water.  Test, analyze, and record environmental impacts and use the data to better understand the choices we make and the impacts of those choices.  In addition to the rivers, we study the wetlands and forested areas along the rivers (riparian forest). If we don't learn to be good stewards of the rivers, who will be?

Activity Offered to: Camps, schools, corporate organizations, private groups and parties.

Special Considerations: River ecology activities are seasonal, from early spring to early winter. Comfort in and around the water is a must, as we can encounter fast water on the river.
