Sailing Activity

Activity Overview: Calleva sailors get to the point where they don't need an instructor in their boat, and have the skills to get from point A to point B using the WIND! Calleva's location at Seneca Lake on the Potomac River is a huge bonus! We use Hobies that can be towed to different locations when looking for needed wind speeds for specific skill levels. Sailing protocols are drilled to ensure quick responses. Exploring islands and docks, racing and obstacle courses, pirating and all sorts of fun to keep this activity exciting. Calleva also has The CALLEVA, a 44' foot Beneteau Cyclades sailing sloop.

Activity Offered to: Camps, schools, school/college interns, corporate/environmental organizations, private groups and parties.

Special Considerations: This is a seasonal activity, taking advantage of the spring, summer and fall months. But if you want to sail down to someplace warm during the winter, we're ready to go!
