CEEP
(Calleva Equestrian Educational Program)
ABOUT CEEP: If you were looking for the complete horse experience then you have come to the right place. Our staff and horses offer such a wide variety to learn and grow in the wonderful world of horsemanship. The complete evolution of a Calleva program can be experienced and witnessed with Calleva's Equestrian Educational Programs.
What started as a day camp activity has grown and expanded to a complete horseback riding facility with all the amenities and exceptional staff that you would want with a full time horse program. With Mary Markoff posted on Look-out and Jill Knudson at the Helm this ship is setting sail. As one of our oldest programs, the Riding program has emerged from a small experiential week with some leased horses, to a full service continued education program that offers a diverse curriculum for all ages and skill levels. Still focusing on the introduction, but enabling those who are interested to excel in a strong community-based program with quality staff and appealing environment.
Calleva has over 20 horses, as various from Bubbles our Mini, to Buddy our Belgian. Many of our horses are aged with calm dispositions, and perfect for the teaching environment. CEEP is also great for those ready to get back in the saddle, needing to rebuild confidence, muscle, and balance. Whether a beginner or you have previous riding experience - we have a horse and instructor right for you!
UNIQUE CONCERNS:With all the students and campers that come through a Calleva program, we see many special concerns that must be addressed. From severe allergic reactions & special dietary needs to emotional & physical disabilities, we try to accommodate and foster an environment where everyone can flourish. If your program has specific needs it is best to call the office and speak with a director so we can adjust the program for the group or individual. We recognize that programs need to be inclusive for all the students, and during the planning stage we can address any specifics that you might have.
