RIDING: Tiny Tots
Calleva Equestrian Educational Program (CEEP)
CEEP offers a specialized set of lessons for the youngest of equine enthusiasts! This unique program is called Tiny Tots and is available to children 7 and under. The Tot program is the brain-child of Mary Markoff. What began as „grandchildren‚s lessons‰ and has expanded to accommodate all who are interested. It is one of our most popular and fastest growing programs. This family oriented class allows parents or older siblings to get involved as well. They are occasionally asked to lead while their child/sibling practices games and balancing exercises on horse back. Each child will not only learn how to ride, they will also learn how to catch, groom and tack their mount. These classes are a lot of fun. The children learn fundamental riding skills and confidence while playing games, riding obstacle courses and occasionally taking short trail rides. Tots are held at the new Dickerson facility on Friday afternoons. Tots are not available during the summer. There are two divisions. Junior Tots - 2, 3 and 4 years old and Senior Tots - 5, 6 and 7 years old. Call the office at 301 216 1248 or email riding@calleva.org to get specific times and reserve a spot for your Tot!

ADDITIONAL CEEP PROGRAMMING OPTIONS: If there is something that you did not see, chances are we either do have it or we can at least steer you in the right direction.
NEEDS: Must wear boots and long pants for any Riding program.
