About Instructional Programs: Calleva doesn't just shut down when the summer is over. Our Staff and Instructors provide quality programs and instructional classes all year and all the time! Interested in continuing your outdoor education or simply interested in an outdoor sport? No other outdoor school in the Washington Area offers a more complete outdoor education from child to adult.
River School: If you are interested in boating we can get you going strong and confident. Our River School offers kayaking classes from whitewater to touring, beginner to advanced, and amazing trips to boot! If you purchased any boat from Hudson Trail Outfiters then you are automatically enrolled for a Kayaking 101 course!
Horseback Riding School: CEEP (Calleva Equestrian Educational Programs) offers a wide variety of instructional and experiential education for the horse enthusiast. If you are looking for a place to board/lease, property to ride, instruction for groups and/or individuals, parties, clubs, events, and camps; then look no more!
After-School Training/Sports: So you are no good at ball sports - we weren't that great either! Calleva provides middle and high school students the option of outdoor sports. Every day after school, students can train and excel in the outdoors. Kayaking, Climbing, & Mountain Biking may not be a traditional sport, but the X-Games are filled with intense competition and we will compete with other school's outdoor ed. programs. Certifications: With as many instructors and staff that are going through Calleva programs and running our programs, you can only imagine the amount of certifications that are required. Looking to get certified so you can lead a program or just to improve your own skills, than this is the next step. Take your skills to the next level and get certified.
Snow (Ski/Board) Club: We love to ski - Do you? When the temp drops, we are off to the local slopes of Whitetail, Liberty, & Roundtop every Friday in January and February (March too if the snow sticks around!). Over Spring Break we hit the best snow in the lower 48 - Utah! That's not all......... come August we are south of the equator for a top ten resort in the world - Portillo! Does it get sweeter then this?
