Raft the Potomac
MATHER GORGE SECTION: You can see Great Falls from behind a railing, or you can feel the spray from the spout! Every Sunday from Late Spring to Early Fall, Calleva offers commercial Raft guiding on the Potomac River. We put in below Great Falls, (Va Overlook) and travel down to Anglers Inn (Md Access) with river levels permitting. Our course takes us down the Mather Gorge alongside the Billy Goat Trail, and instead of looking down at the climbers, we will be looking up. Join us for this unique Potomac perspective and discover the treasure in our back yard. In and out in a short day with time to spare for your weekend schedule! All participants meet at Angler's Inn for shuttle to top of Mather Gorge. Clients cars are waiting at bottom for departure as soon as Rafts are down.

Due to the spring floods, the put-in for the Mather Gorge has been closed and we will not
be offering Weekend Rafting Trips.
If you are upset, please contact NPS Great Falls and ask them to remove the debris.
